Small budget vs. high demands?

These two things are usually incompatible. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is the exception and the only video production company to refute this rule. We use the latest generation cameras of the same type with large 1-inch image sensors. Excellent image quality is guaranteed despite difficult lighting conditions. The use of programmable motorized pan-tilts makes remote control of the cameras possible, which reduces manpower and saves money.

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion . For such productions we use cameras of the same type. When it comes to image quality, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion makes no compromises. The recording is at least in 4K/UHD. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. If the many different areas of the stage presentation are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we can do this using the multi-camera method. We use cameras that are remote controlled. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.

TV and video reports for radio, streaming and the internet

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Several hundred TV reports, video reports and reports were produced and broadcast. The researched topics as well as the locations were very different and varied. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is of course only half the battle. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. An important part of editing video material is adjusting and mixing the soundtracks or audio tracks. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.

When it comes to archiving audio, video and data, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer clear advantages. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and CDs are great for selling, gifting, and archiving music, videos, or files.
