Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. The multi-camera video recording makes it possible to record the different areas of the performance from different perspectives. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. This reduces manpower and costs because a single person can control multiple cameras.

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Over the years, several hundred video reports and TV features have been researched, filmed, edited and broadcast on television. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included current information and news, social events, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball and much more. Due to our extensive experience, we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on almost any topic.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. More than two cameras are always necessary when it comes to interviews and conversations with several people. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. If interviews, conversations or discussion rounds are recorded without an audience, there is no need for a motor pan tilt.

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. After the video recording, the video editing inevitably follows. When cutting the video material, audio tracks and soundtracks are also viewed and adjusted. If additional text and image material is to be integrated, this is not a problem. Logos and blurbs can also be designed and integrated. Video material from your own or other sources can be easily integrated. It is also possible to edit, mix and master the audio tracks of concert recordings.

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. The security of the data on USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is not guaranteed for eternity. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and CDs are great for selling, gifting, and archiving music, videos, or files.
