A main field of activity of GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is multi-camera video recording and video production. We use cameras of the same type. This ensures identical picture quality even with 4K/UHD. The video material is cut on high-performance computers. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.

When it comes to video recording theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., we naturally use the multi-camera method. If the many different areas of the stage presentation are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we can do this using the multi-camera method. Remote controlled cameras are used. The cameras are controlled in a variety of ways from just one central point. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.

Through many years of activity, we also have a wealth of experience in this area. Over the years, several hundred video reports and TV features have been researched, filmed, edited and broadcast on television. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. Due to our many experiences, we are able to work for you in almost all topics to produce TV reports and video reports.

We also use multiple cameras to record interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. More than two cameras are always necessary when it comes to interviews and conversations with several people. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. The technical effort is reduced if the video recording is of discussions without an audience.

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is of course only half the battle. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. During the video editing, the soundtracks and audio tracks are viewed, adjusted and mixed at the same time. A complete video production includes the creation and integration of logos, blurbs and, if necessary, additional image, text and video material. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs offer particular advantages over other storage media, and not just for archiving. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
