GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is one of the few companies that offers multi-camera video production. We use cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video material is cut on high-performance computers. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. If the many areas of the stage performance are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we use the multi-camera method to do this. Remote controlled cameras are used. The very varied alignment of the cameras takes place from a central point. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.

Thanks to many years of activity, we can also draw on a wealth of experience in this area. Hundreds of video reports and TV reports have been produced and broadcast over the years. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience is so rich that we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on all sorts of topics.

We also use multiple cameras to record interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc. If the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person, two cameras are sometimes completely sufficient. When it comes to interview or conversation situations in which several people take part, we naturally rely on the proven multi-camera method. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. The time required can be reduced if the video recordings are conversations and interviews without an audience.

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. When cutting the video material, audio tracks and soundtracks are also viewed and adjusted. Additional text, image and video material as well as blurbs are also designed and integrated during the video editing. Video material from your own or other sources can be easily integrated. It is also possible to edit, mix and master the audio tracks of concert recordings.

We can offer you the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small series. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. The shelf life of USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is limited. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not contain any electronic components that could become a weak point and cause data loss. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
