Multi-camera video production is a main focus of GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion . For such productions we use cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. Professional software is used for video editing on high-performance computers, which is also used by TV stations worldwide. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

The video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We use cameras that are remote controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.

Through many years of activity, we also have a wealth of experience in this area. This resulted in several hundred TV reports and video reports. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience is so rich that we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on all sorts of topics.

Depending on the order, we also use several cameras for the video production of interviews, discussion events, round tables, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. Of course, we rely on the multi-camera method insofar as it is an interview and conversation situation with several people. Depending on whether it is an event with an audience, remote-controlled cameras can also be used here. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is understandably only one side of the coin. A video production cannot be completed without video editing. When cutting the video material, audio tracks and soundtracks are also viewed and adjusted. Additional text, image and video material as well as blurbs are also designed and integrated during the video editing. If you would like video material from you or from other sources to be integrated, you are welcome to submit this. Audio tracks from concert recordings can also be remixed and remastered.

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs not only offer unbeatable advantages in terms of archiving. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
