A main field of activity of GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is multi-camera video recording and video production. We use cameras of the same type. This ensures identical picture quality even with 4K/UHD. The video material is cut on high-performance computers. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. If the many areas of the stage performance are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we use the multi-camera method to do this. Remote controlled cameras are used. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. 5 and more cameras can be operated by a single person. Additional cameramen are not necessary.

A wealth of experience has grown from many years as a video journalist. Hundreds of video reports and TV reports have been produced and broadcast over the years. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience is so rich that we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on all sorts of topics.

We also use multiple cameras to record interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. More than two cameras are always necessary when it comes to interviews and conversations with several people. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. The technical effort is reduced if the video recording is of discussions without an audience.

Of course, recording events, concerts, interviews and discussions is not enough. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. When cutting the video material, audio tracks and soundtracks are also viewed and adjusted. Additional text, image and video material as well as blurbs are also designed and integrated during the video editing. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs not only offer unbeatable advantages in terms of archiving. USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives have a limited shelf life. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not contain any electronic components that could become a weak point and cause data loss. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
