It is often not feasible to achieve both. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is the exception and the only video production company to refute this rule. The cameras we use are modern, latest-generation models with large 1-inch image sensors. Excellent image quality is achieved even under difficult lighting conditions. Cameras can be controlled remotely through the use of programmable motorized pan-tilts, minimizing the need for personnel and reducing costs.

Synchronous recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion . For such productions we use cameras of the same type. When it comes to image quality, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion makes no compromises. The recording is at least in 4K/UHD. The video material is edited on high-performance computers using professional software. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.

Video production of theater performances, concerts, readings and more

In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We use cameras that are remote controlled. The cameras are controlled in a variety of ways from just one central point. This reduces manpower and costs because a single person can control multiple cameras.

TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Hundreds of video reports and TV reports have been produced and broadcast over the years. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. The topics ranged from current news and information to cultural and sporting events, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience is so rich that we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on all sorts of topics.

Video production of rounds of talks, discussion events, interviews, etc.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. If the questioner should not be visible in interviews with only one person, two cameras would be sufficient. More than two cameras are always necessary when it comes to interviews and conversations with several people. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. There is no need for a motor pan tilt when it comes to discussions without an audience.

Video editing, video adjustment, audio editing

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is of course only half the battle. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. An important part of editing video material is adjusting and mixing the soundtracks or audio tracks. A complete video production includes the creation and integration of logos, blurbs and, if necessary, additional image, text and video material. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

Small batch manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs

GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is also your partner for CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small quantities. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. The shelf life of USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is limited. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not contain any electronic components that could become a weak point and cause data loss. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are the best choice for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos as a keepsake.
