It was Ray Cooper's 5th concert in the castle church of Goseck (Burgenlandkreis, Saxony-Anhalt). The concert was recorded with 6 cameras in 4K/UHD and also produced in 4K/UHD. At Ray Cooper's request, the concert was released in two parts a week apart.

High requirements but only a small budget?

Usually this rules out a possibility. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is the exception to the rule. We use cameras of the same type of the latest generation with large 1-inch image sensors. Optimum image quality is guaranteed even in difficult lighting conditions. The programmable motorized pan-tilts enable the cameras to be controlled remotely, thereby reducing the need for personnel, which lowers costs.

GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is your partner when it comes to multi-camera recordings and video production. We rely on high-quality cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video editing takes place on high-performance computers. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

Video production of concerts, theater performances, readings ...

In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. The multi-camera recording makes it possible to capture the many areas of the event from different perspectives in the picture. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.

TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

A wealth of experience has grown from many years as a video journalist. Several hundred TV reports, video reports and reports were produced and broadcast. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.

Video production of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

The use of several cameras is also useful for the video production of rounds of talks, interviews, discussion events, etc. If the questioner should not be visible in interviews with only one person, two cameras would be sufficient. More than two cameras are always necessary when it comes to interviews and conversations with several people. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Video editing, video adjustment, audio editing

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is understandably only one side of the coin. After the video recording, the video editing inevitably follows. When cutting the video material, audio tracks and soundtracks are also viewed and adjusted. A complete video production includes the creation and integration of logos, blurbs and, if necessary, additional image, text and video material. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.

Small batch manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs

GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is also your partner for CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small quantities. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. The security of the data on USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is not guaranteed for eternity. Since Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs contain no electronic components, this potential vulnerability and cause of data loss is absent. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
