These two things are usually incompatible. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is the exception and the only video production company to refute this rule. Our choice is the latest cameras with large 1-inch image sensors of the same type. Excellent image quality is achieved in difficult lighting conditions. Cameras can be controlled remotely by using programmable motor pan-tilts, which reduces manpower and saves costs.

Video recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is your partner when it comes to multi-camera recordings and video production. We use cameras of the same type. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. The video editing takes place on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

Video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings ...

For the video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc., we consistently use the multi-camera method. Only through multi-camera video production is it possible to record many areas of the event simultaneously in image and sound. We use cameras that are remote controlled. The cameras are controlled in a variety of ways from just one central point. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.

TV and video reports for radio, streaming and the internet

Thanks to many years of activity, we can also draw on a wealth of experience in this area. Hundreds of TV contributions and reports were produced and broadcast. The researched topics as well as the locations were very different and varied. The topics ranged from current news and information to cultural and sporting events, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience makes it possible for you to research all conceivable subject areas in order to produce TV reports and video reports.

Video production of rounds of talks, discussion events, interviews, etc.

Depending on the assignment, several cameras are also used for interviews, discussion events and roundtables. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. However, if it is an interview or conversation situation with several people, we naturally rely on the multi-camera method. To what extent it is necessary to be able to remotely control the cameras depends on whether it is an event with an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Video editing, video cutting, audio editing

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. The second and at least as important part of a video production is the video editing. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

Manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small quantities

We can offer you the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small series. In contrast to other storage media, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs have unbeatable advantages. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are the best choice for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos as a keepsake.
