When it comes to multi-camera recording and video production, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is your partner. For such productions we use cameras of the same type. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. The video material is cut on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. Only through multi-camera video production is it possible to record many areas of the event simultaneously in image and sound. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. This reduces manpower and costs because a single person can control multiple cameras.

In this area, too, we can draw on a wealth of experience based on many years of activity. Hundreds of video reports and TV contributions have been made over the years. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. The topics ranged from current news and information to cultural and sporting events, social events and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. The technical effort is reduced if the video recording is of discussions without an audience.

Of course, recording events, concerts, interviews and discussions is not enough. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. A complete video production includes the creation and integration of logos, blurbs and, if necessary, additional image, text and video material. Video material from your own or other sources can be easily integrated. It is also possible to edit, mix and master the audio tracks of concert recordings.

GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is also your partner for CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small quantities. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs offer particular advantages over other storage media, and not just for archiving. The security of the data on USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is not guaranteed for eternity. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs lack electronic components. Thus, these potential weak points and causes for data loss are missing. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
