This work is a bit older. A music video by Project Abacay titled Guitar Girl. There was a basic idea that was filmed and implemented flexibly with a lot of spontaneity within a few hours. At that time there was no 4K/UHD. Therefore, video shooting and video production took place in full HD.

High goals, but only a small budget - a big challenge?

It is seldom possible to have both at the same time. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is the exception and the only video production company to refute this rule. We use modern, latest-generation cameras of the same type with large 1-inch image sensors. Excellent image quality is ensured even under difficult lighting conditions. Cameras can be controlled remotely through the use of programmable motor pan-tilts, thus minimizing personnel expenditure, which leads to cost savings.

A main field of activity of GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is multi-camera video recording and video production. Professional cameras of the same type are used. When it comes to image quality, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion makes no compromises. The recording is at least in 4K/UHD. Professional software is used for video editing on high-performance computers, which is also used by TV stations worldwide. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

When it comes to video recording theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., we naturally use the multi-camera method. If the many areas of the stage performance are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we use the multi-camera method to do this. Remote-controlled cameras are used. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be operated by a single person. This saves personnel costs for you.

The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

When it comes to archiving audio, video and data, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer clear advantages. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs lack electronic components. Thus, these potential weak points and causes for data loss are missing.
