A challenging combination: demands and a tight budget?

Usually you have to make a choice as these options are mutually exclusive. However, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is the exception to the rule. With large 1-inch image sensors, we use cameras of the same type of the latest generation. Challenging lighting conditions are no obstacle to excellent image quality. The programmable motorized pan-tilts allow the cameras to be operated remotely, reducing the need for staff and saving costs.

Video recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion . For such productions we use cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video material is edited on high-performance computers using professional software. As one of the few video producers, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.
Video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings ...

In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. The multi-camera recording makes it possible to capture the many areas of the event from different perspectives in the picture. Remote controlled cameras are used. The cameras are controlled in a variety of ways from just one central point. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.
Video reports for television and the Internet

Thanks to many years of activity, we can also draw on a wealth of experience in this area. Hundreds of TV contributions and reports were produced and broadcast. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. Due to our extensive experience, we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on almost any topic.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. However, if it is an interview or conversation situation with several people, we naturally rely on the multi-camera method. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. The technical effort is reduced if the video recording is of discussions without an audience.
Editing of video and audio material

Of course, recording events, concerts, interviews and discussions is not enough. The second and at least as important part of a video production is the video editing. The soundtracks or audio tracks have to be adjusted and mixed while the video material is being edited. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. If you would like video material from you or from other sources to be integrated, you are welcome to submit this. Audio tracks from concert recordings can also be remixed and remastered.
CD, DVD, Blu-ray Disc - Small Series Manufacturing

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. When it comes to archiving audio, video and data, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer clear advantages. USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives have a limited shelf life. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and CDs are great for selling, gifting, and archiving music, videos, or files.
