GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion - the best way to record events, meetings, concerts, talks, theater performances...
for publication on the web, TV, on BluRay, DVD

A challenging combination: demands and a tight budget?

These two things are usually incompatible. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is the exception and the only video production company to refute this rule. Our latest generation of modern cameras with large 1-inch image sensors are used. Optimum image quality is ensured even in difficult lighting conditions. Programmable motor pan tilters enable the cameras to be operated remotely, minimizing personnel costs and lowering the costs for you as the client.

We offer the following services, among others

Synchronous recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

When it comes to multi-camera recording and video production, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is your partner. Several cameras of the same type are used. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.
Video production of theater performances, concerts, readings and more

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. This reduces manpower and costs because a single person can control multiple cameras.
TV and video reports for radio, streaming and the internet

In this area, too, we can draw on a wealth of experience based on many years of activity. Over the years, several hundred video reports and TV features have been researched, filmed, edited and broadcast on television. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. These included current information and news, social events, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.
Video production of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. If the questioner should not be visible in interviews with only one person, two cameras would be sufficient. However, if it is an interview or conversation situation with several people, we naturally rely on the multi-camera method. Depending on whether it is an event with an audience, remote-controlled cameras can also be used here. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.
Video editing, video adjustment, audio editing

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. The soundtracks or audio tracks have to be adjusted and mixed while the video material is being edited. A complete video production includes the creation and integration of logos, blurbs and, if necessary, additional image, text and video material. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.
CD, DVD, Blu-ray Disc - Small Series Manufacturing

Do you need CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray discs in small quantities? GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is your partner. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. The security of the data on USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is not guaranteed for eternity. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are the best choice for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos as a keepsake.
