Most of the time these things are mutually exclusive. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is the exception and the only video production company to refute this rule. Our cameras are the latest generation of the same type with large 1 inch image sensors used. Optimal image quality is guaranteed even under challenging lighting conditions. Programmable motorized pan-tilts enable remote control of the cameras, thereby reducing the need for staff, resulting in cost savings.

GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is one of the few companies that offers multi-camera video production. Several cameras of the same type are used. When it comes to image quality, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion makes no compromises. The recording is at least in 4K/UHD. The video material is cut on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.
Video production of concerts, theater performances, readings ...

For the video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc., we consistently use the multi-camera method. If the many areas of the stage performance are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we use the multi-camera method to do this. We use cameras that are remote controlled. The very varied alignment of the cameras takes place from a central point. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.
TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

Thanks to many years of activity, we can also draw on a wealth of experience in this area. Over the years, several hundred video reports and TV features have been researched, filmed, edited and broadcast on television. The researched topics as well as the locations were very different and varied. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. The use of several cameras is also useful for the video production of rounds of talks, interviews, discussion events, etc. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. However, if it is an interview or conversation situation with several people, we naturally rely on the multi-camera method. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. The technical effort is reduced if the video recording is of discussions without an audience.
Editing and editing of video and audio material

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. Video material from your own or other sources can be easily integrated. It is also possible to edit, mix and master the audio tracks of concert recordings.
Small series of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

We can offer you the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small series. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. The security of the data on USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is not guaranteed for eternity. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are the best choice for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos as a keepsake.
