This is a slightly older work. A music video by the Abacay project entitled Make a compromise and you'll survive. A basic idea was flexibly filmed or implemented with a lot of spontaneity in less than one day. At that time there was no 4K/UHD. Therefore, video shooting and video production took place in full HD.

High standards with limited financial leeway?

Most of the time these things are mutually exclusive. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is the exception to the rule. We use the latest generation cameras of the same type with large 1-inch image sensors. Optimal image quality is achieved in demanding lighting conditions. Cameras can be controlled remotely with the programmable motor pan-tilts, which reduces manpower and costs.

When it comes to image quality, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion makes no compromises. The recording is at least in 4K/UHD. The video material is edited on high-performance computers using professional software. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

The video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The cameras are controlled in a variety of ways from just one central point. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.
TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

Through many years of activity, we also have a wealth of experience in this area. Hundreds of video reports and TV reports have been produced and broadcast over the years. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.

We also use multiple cameras to record interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. However, if it is an interview or conversation situation with several people, we naturally rely on the multi-camera method. Depending on whether it is an event with an audience, remote-controlled cameras can also be used here. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.
Video editing, video adjustment, audio editing

Of course, recording events, concerts, interviews and discussions is not enough. A video production cannot be completed without video editing. During the video editing, the soundtracks and audio tracks are viewed, adjusted and mixed at the same time. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. Video material from your own or other sources can be easily integrated. It is also possible to edit, mix and master the audio tracks of concert recordings.
CD, DVD, Blu-ray Disc - Small Series Manufacturing

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs not only offer unbeatable advantages in terms of archiving. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not contain any electronic components that could become a weak point and cause data loss. Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and CDs are great for selling, gifting, and archiving music, videos, or files.
