Small budget vs. high demands?

Usually one cannot be reconciled with the other. GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion is the exception and the only video production company to refute this rule. We use modern cameras of the same type of the latest generation with large 1-inch image sensors. Outstanding image quality is achieved under difficult lighting conditions. The ability to remotely operate the cameras using programmable motor pan-tilts enables costs to be reduced by reducing personnel expenses.

Multi-camera video production (parallel recording with multiple cameras)

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion . Several cameras of the same type are used. This ensures identical picture quality even with 4K/UHD. The video editing takes place on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.
Video production of concerts, theater performances, readings ...

When it comes to video recording theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., we naturally use the multi-camera method. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We use cameras that are remote controlled. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. 5 and more cameras can be operated by a single person. Additional cameramen are not necessary.
TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

Thanks to many years of activity, we can also draw on a wealth of experience in this area. Hundreds of TV contributions and reports were produced and broadcast. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience makes it possible for you to research all conceivable subject areas in order to produce TV reports and video reports.
Video recording of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. If the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person, two cameras are sometimes completely sufficient. When it comes to interview or conversation situations in which several people take part, we naturally rely on the proven multi-camera method. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. There is no need for a motor pan tilt when it comes to discussions without an audience.
Video editing, video cutting, audio editing

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is understandably only one side of the coin. A video production cannot be completed without video editing. An important part of editing video material is adjusting and mixing the soundtracks or audio tracks. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.
Manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small quantities

GERA, Bad Köstritz Film-, Medien-, Videoproduktion offers small batch manufacturing of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs offer particular advantages over other storage media, and not just for archiving. USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives have a limited shelf life. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs lack electronic components. Thus, these potential weak points and causes for data loss are missing. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
